Take a hike and forage for nature to make a beautiful wreath for Thanksgiving. Always wanted to learn how to do this. Free and good for all ages. »
NOV 24 (11:00 AM-4:00 PM) — 🛍 Holiday Market (Yellow Studio, Cross River)
If you've never been to YS, this is a great opportunity to check it out. You'll see a ton of women-owned businesses based in NY selling their wares. Light refreshments. Free, and kids welcome. My artsy daughter loves this event. »
DEC 2 (6:30 PM-7:30 PM) — 🎄 Christmas Tree Lighting (Lewisboro Town Park)
Hot chocolate, Christmas carolers, you get the picture. Like straight out of Whoville.
DEC 7 (9:00 AM-5:00 PM) — 🎁 Toys for Tots Holiday Toy Drive (Vista Fire Department, South Salem)
Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Vista Fire Dept and get a picture with Santa. They’ve always got a cookie & ornament decorating station, and are happy to take kids on a tour of the firetrucks. We do this every year. »
DEC 14 (9:00 AM-12:00 PM) — 🚒 Candy Cane Run (Vista Fire Dept, South Salem)
Santa will be riding on a firetruck all morning in South Salem. Check the website to see what time he’ll drop by each site. »
DEC 14 (11:00 AM-5:00 PM) — 🛍 Yellow Monkey Village Holiday Stroll (Yellow Monkey Village, Cross River)
Crafts, music, artisans, sweet treats. If you've never stopped into this cute little "village," this is the perfect time to check it out. »
DEC 15 (1:00 PM-3:00 PM) — 🎅 Curbside Santa (Golden's Bridge Fire Department)
Never done it, but I hear this is a hit. Pull right up and get a photo with Santa, curbside. Snacks and sweets, and every kid gets a gift bag. Free! »
DEC 26 (5:00 PM-6:00 PM) — 🕎 Hanukkah Celebration (Lewisboro Town Hall)
Celebrate Hanukkah with refreshments and the lighting of the first candle. We did this last year with the kids and it was so lovely.

NOV 22-DEC 30 — 🪄 Lumina Magical Lights (Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard, North Salem)
A stroller-friendly walk through the orchard, which is lit up with Christmasy displays. Snacks and hard cider at the end. Make plans now, as they sell out! »
DEC 1 (9:00 AM-4:00 PM) — 🛍 Indoor Horse Showing & Artisan Market (Old Salem Farm, North Salem)
Such a gorgeous place to spend an afternoon. See some horses, and pick up a local handmade gift (don’t miss The Sheehan family’s booth: Hippie Feet Tie-Dyes). Free! »
DEC 7 (9:00 AM-4:00 PM) —🎅🏻 Santa Visits Outhouse Orchards (Outhouse Orchards)
Baked goods, pizza, hard cider. Love this place. Santa arrives at 10AM. $10/kid. »

A Ridgefield Thanksgiving tradition for 43 years! If you're a running family (we are most certainly not), this event is for you. $45/adult, $23/kid. »
NOV 29 (6:00 PM-8:00 PM) — 🎄 Ridgefield's Annual Tree Lighting 2024 (Town Hall, Ridgefield)
A night straight out of a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie. A must-go. »
DEC 6 & 7 — 💃 Ridgefield Holiday Stroll 2024 (Downtown Ridgefield)
On day 1 (6:00 PM-9:00 PM), you’ll see horse-drawn carriage rides, carolers and toy soldiers, live music. Make a dinner res if you plan to make it a date night! And be sure to stop by Keeler Museum and Lounsbury House if you have littles. (Lounsbury will have Santa, Mrs. Claus and 2 live reindeer that night)! On day 2 (10:00 AM-3:00 PM), the fun continues. »
