What's The Plan: APR 11-13
A flashlight egg hunt in Ridgefield, an open house at D.I.G. Farm, a pup-ster egg hunt in Lewisboro, Spring Celebration at Rising Starr in Wilton, and more!

It’s the last few days before spring break, y’all. Godspeed to all you parents out there juggling camps, work, meals and housework amidst the chaos. And same goes to all you brave families jetting off to somewhere warm. May your travels be safe and stress-free.
I’ve been asked if I’m doing any sort of “Things To Do Over Spring Break” roundup, and the short answer is no. Maybe one day if this thing really takes off, but for now, I’m just focused on family-friendly weekend events. However, if you need ideas for day-trips, rainy weather spots, at-home activities, local hikes or (second-hand) kids shopping, click here to take a look.
One thing I’ve been enjoying this spring is butterfly pea drinks. Partly because they’re a gorgeous shade of purple, and partly because the name butterfly pea cracks me up.
I spied butterfly-pea hued lemonades from Sweet Squeeze at Lyndhurst’s Flower Show last weekend, butterfly-pea cocktails at MŌLÌ in Greenwich on Sunday, coffee drinks at Starbucks earlier this week. It’s everywhere. This trend isn’t new, but I’ve officially made it my go-to beverage theme this spring and you should, too.
Lots of fun things happening this weekend. Take a look, invite some friends, and make a plan to check something out together. As for us, we’ll be in birthday mode over here as our first-born turns 8 (!) on Friday. She is the coolest kid around, and I feel so incredibly lucky to be her mom.
Thanks to all the subscribers who signed up last week, including Petra P., Phoebe G., Phoebe P., Julia G., Jackie D., Elizabeth D., Marianne P., Megan E., Margaret A., Carolyn S., Courtney R., Katie Z., Angela L., Callie R., Sam B., Nicole B., Claire A., and Alex B. I’m glad you’re here! 🫶
